Itinerary Summary

Day 1 To Murchison Falls, do Rhino tracking at Ziwa.
Day 2 Morning Game drive and Launch cruise.

Itinerary

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel in the morning or for those arriving at Entebbe international airport expect your driver guide to pick you up and begin the journey to Murchison falls National Park, you will drive through several towns along the way before having an optional stopover at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary where the endangered White rhinoceros are bred.

This Rhino sanctuary was started to protect the White Rhino populations found in Uganda. Tracking the Rhinos is an optional activity going for USD 50 per person. You will have a stopover in Masindi for your lunch. It is 2-3 hours drive from Masindi town to the park. As you drive through the Budongo Forest, you will comes across troops of Baboons, monkeys and several bird species.

Depending on time of arrival at the park, one may have an evening game drive as you warm up for the morning game drive. Arrive at your preferred accommodation relax, refresh and wait for diner.

Have breakfast and head for a game drive where you view different wildlife like herds of elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes and bee-eater to list a few. Have lunch and return for afternoon activity on the Nile River. You will go with the boat to the bottom of the falls where the water falls forces itself out of the narrow rocks.

You will spot crocodiles, hippos, elephants and other animals when at the river bank drinking water. You will then go back to the lodge for overnight and dinner at the same lodge.

Morning breakfast, the driver will then transfer you to Kibale national park. Kibale national park has an evergreen forest that contains a diverse array of landscapes, and a variety of mammals and bird species.

Kibale national park is home to many chimpanzees and has a habituation centre for chimpanzees. You will pass via Lake Albert where you will see the beautiful view of Lake Albert and then proceed to Hoima for lunch. On arrival to Kibale national park, you will check in with the lodge for dinner and overnight.

You will have morning breakfast very early in the morning and then proceed to the park’s headquarters for a briefing on the rules and guidelines of conducting chimpanzee tracking. You will start the search in the jungle, apart from chimpanzees you will view other wildlife like a bush pig, elephants, and blue monkeys to list a few.

Bird species will also be viewed during the tracking process and the evergreen savannah vegetation of Kibale national park. Your will return to the lodge for lunch and later you can go for nature walks in the nearby community.

You will check in at the lodge and have lunch and head for the evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

The guide wills help you to spot wildlife like herd of elephants, lion and leopard to list a few and a lot of bird species. go back to the lodge have lunch and set off for boat ride where you be able to spot hippos, crocodiles and flamingos on the water side.

Take an African cup of coffee and set off for Kampala. The driver will go slowly so you view more wildlife while going back.
